Robbie Murray
2012 Gutsy Walk Honourary Chair

Hi, I'm Robbie Murray and I'm 9 years old. I am in grade 4 at Montclair Public School in Oakville. I love playing dodgeball and badminton.

I was 6 when I started to get sick. After months of severe pain and losing weight, I was finally diagnosed with Crohn's disease. Finding a treatment that worked took some time. Now I'm getting Remicade infusions and I live a happy and active life.

I would really like to see a cure! Join us at the walk and help us put an end Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis forever!

Hi I'm Alessandria Convey. I'm 4 years young and in JK. I love going to school and reading books.

Hi, my name is Roger Montpetit and I am 9 years old. I am happy to be the honourary chair person this year.

I love to play soccer and video games. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother. I have been fundraising for CCFC for 4 years now because my mom has Crohn's disease. She has had the disease for over 20 years. I feel bad for her when she is sick and in lots of pain. By raising money for the Gutsy Walk, I am helping my mom and other people who have IBD.

Ryan Nesbitt
2012 Gutsy Walk Honourary Chair

My name is Ryan Nesbitt. I am 17 years old. When I was 4 years old, I was admitted to McMaster Children's Hospital. I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. Last summer I got really sick and I was put on Remicade infusions. Since then, I have been doing extremely well.

I hope everyone will come out and support the Gutsy Walk! Let's walk together for IBD research to find a cure so no one will have to go through what countless others & I have!
